We began our real estate adventures in 2009, at the bottom of the real estate market, when we started purchasing distressed properties at a discount. We renovated them, then sold or rented them to tenants. We believe that real estate is an art form. The spaces and places we dwell should not only be functional and good investments, but should also be things of beauty! Making a property beautiful increases its value and makes it stand out to buyers, plus it's tons of fun to build and create something special!
Historic buildings have a character and charm that simply cannot be recreated today. Our first major renovation project entailed a full restoration of 189 North Trade Street located in downtown Matthews. The building was in serious disrepair! Construction began in 2011 and took nearly one year to complete. To the right is a photo of the property in its completed state. It's the centerpiece of downtown Matthews, North Carolina!
This project was an expression of our creativity and entrepreneurial drive. Now it's your turn! Let us help you find and create your perfect home, living space, or business place!
We stumbled upon a very unique historic church that needed serious TLC! The building was solid, but the interior was a mess. We completely renovated the interior including refinishing 120 year old pine flooring and repairing the gorgeous stained glassed windows. Once finished, we sold the property to an event business. What a fun project, indeed!
Here's another photograph of our property in downtown Matthews. We completely replaced the building façade and windows with ones that are more era appropriate. A mason added beautiful brick arches throughout as well! We restored the interior to its original condition with exposed brick, bead board ceilings and refinished red pine hardwoods. The two story Victorian building is an absolute work of art and is home to Minieri Real Estate's business office.
We purchased this foreclosed coffee shop located near the peninsula in Cornelius, North Carolina. We renovated the unit with bamboo hardwoods, checkboard tile and swanky industrial decor. After the renovations, we rented it as a studio loft for several years until we eventually sold it to a printing company. This was one of our favorite projects to work on!
In addition to buying and selling homes and renovations, we are experienced designers and stagers. After all, presentation is crucial when selling a house! It is essential to work with real estate professionals that are skilled in multiple aspects of the industry. In today's competitive market, you need every advantage to gain the best return on your biggest investment. Here is a sample of a home we sold in 2016 located in south Charlotte, North Carolina. The finished product created a very warm and inviting atmosphere for potential buyers! Flowers, throw pillows, fireplace décor and a mix of fabrics brought to life an otherwise bland space! When it's time to sell your house, give us a call to represent you as your real estate agent. We will guide you and advise you on every aspect of the process!
One of our residential remodel projects was a townhouse in Charlotte. That long windowless wall every townhouse has can be difficult to decorate. We chose to paint strips down that long wall to turn it from bland to wow! In addition, we painted all the doors black to create a rich and sophisticated vibe! This unit stood out in the crowd and sold fast! As your real estate agents, we will provide you with very unique tips and strategies you can utilize to help maximize the attractiveness of your house.
A beautiful and vibrant dining room table can make for a perfect first impression! In this house, we staged the space with full place settings and a variety of décor for the center of the table. Buyers immediately responded positively upon entering the house!
